EVA research project

Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure for Amsterdam Metropolitan Region (EVA) project is a research project developed by Wageningen University & Research, commissioned by the VerDuS program Smart Urban Regions of the Future. The objective of the project is to develop approaches to determine how and where to locate electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The study is multi-scalar, developed both on the regional and the local scale, and is tested with data from the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.

I developed all GIS spatial and network analyses, including visualization of maps and management of data. During the study I also developed a literature research on other studies that develop optimization models to determine location of electric vehicles charging infrastructure, as well as supported all the statistic and optimization analysis in the research.

Some of the spatial data generated can be accessed in this Mendeley Data dataset.
